Artist-activist James Carroll Pickett was one of the first voices to address the cultural importance of the plague. Colleagues and comrades share intimate stories about the man, his mission, and his legacy while his artistic partner and muse, Michael Kearns, recreates moments from his plays: Bathhouse Benediction, Dream Man, and Queen of Angels.
